Anyone else remember the IT Innovation Campaign? A crowdsourcing tool, I think Publivate? or Innovate? It was led by TBS, with PWGSC heavily involved. I think Chuck Henry's shop was the lead. I am estimating 2008 or 2009?

Joy it was Publivate they used. If you check GCpedia and/or the old CIOC site you should be able to find an exact date. If you can, please add it to the timeline!

I see Joy's editing now - what about the starts of major GCconnex communities?

Kent - its a good idea. Particularly given Martha's theory that part of the decline in w2p et. al. was it got replaced as GCconnex got more active. Would be good to pinpoint the launch of the GCconnex Chat feature (I think fall 2013?), obviously BP2020 group and any other big ones. Will have to rely on those of you in the GC to provide that since I don't have access to the tools.

Not sure if this is something you are interested in but I used Twitter (starting Jan 2010) to leak the canada@150 report before its release (why I ended up on Twitter). Horizons eventually asked me to use my Twitter klout to help them with the launch of the document when it was finally released. We had our own hashtag (#c150) and I tweeted in both official languages. The organization didn't have a Twitter account at the time, so mine was the best way to get the information out.

Hi folks, I edited the dates/fleshed out details on SMPD, DMCPI and the Innovation Hub + Clement's Google Hangout.

The timestamps seem to think that we're all in Paris. And that it's time for a glass of wine.

Did you know that it is referred to (at least by Microsoft Office) as: Romance Standard Time :-)

I've put in a couple more open gov items. There are more that could be added e.g. Open Data Charter but I don't know how much of an open gov flavour you're looking for.

Great - I think at this point good not to exclude anything and just see how it evolves!

In response to the Q on SMPD - Clerk launched it in Nov 2012 but the first meeting was held in Jan 2013. Reverse mentors attended the second meeting in February.

Thanks for the clarification! Why this is great, because memories get fuzzy at our advanced age ;-)
